Having first created a tiny painting of the ibis birds feeding at the shore line ("Beachcombers" 6"x6") Carol McArdle then did a slightly larger version, ("The Beachcombers II" 19"x24"). Next she painted this even larger version, "Supper in the Surf" 26" x 46". There seem to be endless ways to represent the same scene with art, even by the same artist.
