This painting is of the Six Mile Cypress Slough, Fort Myers, FL. It is a preserved ancient cypress forest and it also has some ponds. There is a walkway right through the forest and it is like stepping back thousands of years. You have to see it, be still and observe it, let yourself awaken to it and look for the many species of wildlife - they can always see you even when you do not see them. It is magical and wonderous. Nature never fails to amaze.
